Tecsa is now looking to build the best team to execute this next phase of its strategy and is looking for a Product Designer to guide the customer-centric design of this platform.
The Product Designer reports directly to the Product Delivery Director and is responsible for designing and creating world-class product design experiences that are compelling and easy to use across our retail analytics platform.
Areas of Responsibility· Experience designing, shipping, and iterating on multiple complex features whilst owning the end-to-end product design process for 2-3 workstreams (UX and UI)
· Facilitate discovery sessions to ideate concepts and design sprints with cross-functional team members
· Generating intuitive design prototypes and data visualisations based on the information received from internal teams, subject matter experts and relevant stakeholders to be validated and iterated upon
· Ability to proactively enable user research, articulate insights, and generate designs to showcase improvements based on users’ needs
· Effectively communicate design ideas and solutions to team members who can take on feedback and build from it
· Ability to generate design assets such as high-fi wireframes, user flows, annotations, and user stories to be socialised with internal and development teams
· Focus on outcomes, delivering value for our users, and representing their needs during the design process
· Attend project and status meetings as required, clearly articulating recommendations, decisions, and solutions to cross-functional stakeholders to provide a solid visual design presence
· Present complex design concepts, user needs, and design rationale to multidisciplinary leadership teams, key stakeholders, and business partners
· Contribute to delivering a design system with design tokens that will be the single source of truth for designs and the development team
· Own and deliver high-quality designs to deliver product mock-ups that replicate the final visual design for bespoke business development proposals for clients
· Minimum four to five years of product design experience on large-scale applications, ideally within an in-house, customer-centric, corporate environment
· Strong strategic designer, comfortable analysing problems using experimentation, analytics, and data
· Experience with SaaS and retail/ consumer product design is advantageous
· Familiarity with modern software development processes, product management and how design teams fit into the agile process
· Expert knowledge of user-centred design principles, UX best practices, market trends, and emerging technologies
· Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to independently lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, feedback sessions, etc
· A portfolio demonstrating solid design skills and deep knowledge of the design process
· You’ll also have core experience in interaction design, wireframing (low-fi to high-fi), working within brand guidelines, design tokens and design systems
