We are seeking an experienced Private Clients Account Handler to join our team in Finchley. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional with expertise in handling High Net Worth (HNW) insurance policies, including High Value Home and Motor insurance. The successful candidate will manage client relationships, ensure policy compliance, and support business growth by delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

● Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Private Clients, delivering outstanding service.

● Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.

● Proactively assist with policy enquiries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.

● Policy Management & Risk Assessment: Ensure the accuracy of policy documentation, endorsements, and certificates.

● Work closely with underwriters to negotiate and secure competitive coverage.

● Analyse clients’ risk profiles and identify opportunities for enhanced coverage.

● Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all client policies comply with industry regulations and contractual obligations.

● Maintain detailed and organised electronic client files within Acturis and other systems.

● Business Development & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of relevant insurance products.

● Support the wider team in business growth and retention strategies.

● Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Conduct peer quality checks on documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

● Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices.

  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and industry regulations within the Private Clients / High Net Worth sector.

● Experience in handling High Value Home and Motor insurance (broking or underwriting capacity).

● Proficiency in Acturis insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.

● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with high-net-worth clients effectively.

● Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to assess client needs and recommend solutions.

● High level of attention to detail and accuracy in policy documentation.

● Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performance team environment.

● Commitment to ethical business practices and regulatory compliance.
