The Role in a Nutshell 🐿️
As an Energy Compliance Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Solutions products, including (but not limited to) Climate Change Agreements, EII Exemption, EII Network Charging Compensation, and CHP Quality Assurance.
You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of contracts, ensuring timely, accurate, and high‑quality delivery of data‑driven outputs. This includes gathering and analysing energy, production, and financial data, maintaining robust databases, and submitting all necessary documentation to secure savings for our clients. As the first point of contact, you’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, and governing bodies, resolving queries, providing guidance, and ensuring full compliance at every stage.
You’ll also contribute to continuous service improvement by maintaining clear audit trails, supporting process refinement, and helping the team stay responsive to emerging legislation and industry changes.
➡️ Support the team in delivering compliance-related products and services (e.g., CCA, Eii, Eii NCC & CHPQA.).
➡️ Manage a portfolio of contracts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of required outputs.
➡️ Collect, collate, and analyse monthly energy, production, and financial data for client reporting.
➡️ Maintain and develop databases to monitor performance and ensure compliance.
➡️ Submit accurate documentation to secure client savings on non-commodity energy charges.
➡️ Act as the first point of contact for clients, suppliers, and governing bodies, resolving queries effectively.
➡️ Generate and submit reports, declarations, and applications by required deadlines.
➡️ Maintain comprehensive audit trails and evidence packs for all completed work.
➡️ Contribute to service improvement discussions and help the team adapt to legislative changes.
➡️ Support the development of the overall service offering through collaboration and problem-solving.
Key Ingredients for the Role 🪄
💷 Salary: £28,000 to £30,700 per annum
🌴 Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays + 🥳 your birthday off, increasing to 30 days on length of service
