About the role
We are looking for a Commercial Operations Coordinator to join our Commercial team. In this role, you will handle coordination, reporting, research, and administrative tasks essential to the smooth functioning of our day-to-day sales operations.
You’ll report directly to our Head of Commercial Operations and work closely with various departments on cross-functional projects designed to enhance customer experience, optimise commercial processes, and drive revenue growth.
We’re seeking a proactive individual who is confident in engaging with customers and collaborating with different teams across the business. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about contributing to our climate goals and eager to embark on a career in Commercial Operations.
What you will achieve
- Deliver exceptional customer support by responding to inbound messages and actively identifying opportunities to drive revenue through upsells and referrals to the Sales team.
- Assist with company-wide communications and targeted customer outreach related to business events, such as pricing changes and product updates.
- Manage correspondence and meeting scheduling with customers involved in user testing or case study creation.
- Gather feedback and insights from customer interactions to aid in product development.
- Provide administrative support to the Sales team, including completing supplier forms and tracking outstanding invoices. Collaborate with various departments to streamline workflow processes.
- Compile data and insights from various sources to inform the Head of Commercial Operations and the Growth team about sales performance and other key Commercial Operations metrics. Support data analysis efforts to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop proficiency in tools and third-party platforms to generate performance reports and support the Sales team’s development, ensuring training materials are kept up-to-date in Notion.
- Participate in and occasionally lead cross-functional projects to optimise internal processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
Essential Skills
- Previous work experience in coordination and administrative roles engaging with customers, ideally in a remote capacity.
- Excellent communication skills, with previous experience engaging with customers and facilitating clear communication across different business areas.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to find solutions quickly and effectively manage diverse situations.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and data reporting with Google Sheets or Excel.
- Adaptable and eager to take on diverse tasks, consistently going above and beyond.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
- An interest in climate action and a desire to make a positive impact on our planet would be a great plus.
